HR Manager


The HR Manager assists the CFO/O and provides operational and tactical consultation, coordination and support on a variety of HR functional areas. Amongst others, but not limited to, recruitment and selection of top talent, on- and off boarding, compensation & benefits schemes, create/set-up & execute HR policies & procedures, HR performance & reporting, learning and development and general tasks like HR and payroll administration.

In addition, you will have the possibility to be involved in and execute the HR strategy, fine tune organizational structures, define the value framework & performance management and shape a fun & high-performance culture. We expect to grow as a company quickly, so change will be a consistent topic, and you can be in the driver seat of that.

We need an all-round person, who can think high-level and long-term and is not afraid to get their hands dirty.


As our HR Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • The recruitment and pre-selection of new employees.
  • A full range of general HR activities (working in partnership with different stakeholders).
  • Providing advice and guidance of employee relations issues such as absence, pension, performance management, recruitment, and talent management.
  • Ensure comprehensive utilization, completion, and promotion of the value of the annual Performance Management process.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the business, HR trends and employment legislation.
  • Update and develop effective and suitable HR policies and procedures to implement throughout the business. Identify and work towards harmonization of policies and processes wherever possible.
  • The on- and off boarding of (new) employees.
  • HR and Payroll Administration.

What we like to see

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in HRM.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in a HR generalist role.
  • Knowledge of the Dutch Labor Market, Laws, and current HR trends.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with NMBRS or a similar system is preferred.
  • Self-reliant, good problem solver, innovator, results oriented, enthusiastic personality and high level of energy.
  • Strong account management and relationship building skills.
  • Superior people management skills: ability to influence, challenge, guide and engage peers.
  • Strong mentoring and coaching skills.
  • Able to cope with time pressure and dynamic surroundings.
  • Demonstrated ability in your field of expertise and willingness to make a difference.
  • Strong work ethic and drive to be the best.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch — both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, autonomous, dynamic, and demanding atmosphere.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, be assertive and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a challenging work environment.
  • Exceptional teamwork skills.

Application Process

First phone call: We will invite you for a quick 30 minute phone or Skype call where we will ask you a few personal questions to determine your team-fit and motivation.

First meeting: We will invite you to our office so we can meet in person and ask you a few questions to see what role you could play. For this, 60-minute part no extra material preparation is needed.

Interview*: We will ask you to carry out a series of short assignments on the spot, to evaluate your competence and way of working and lay out your previous experience in a short presentation. The interview takes up to 2-3 hours, and we like to carry it out in person, although remote interviews are possible too.
